Pillar Systems’ Asset Management Technology
We have developed an Asset Management Optimization Model that integrates with our Asset Management Database. The data and analysis are generic for all “Asset Classes”, including roads, sidewalks, bridges, airports, marine structures, culverts, pipelines, treatment facilities, buildings, and equipment. This allows the Optimization Model to integrate and balance the short and long-term capital renewal budgets across all asset groups. Through condition assessments and optimization modeling, what typically takes municipalities years of trial and error in developing the optimal maintenance and capital works program, we can accomplish in a few months. This is equivalent to “money in the bank” for the municipalities we serve.
The figure (left) summarizes the key aspects of each piece of software and how they relate to each other to provide the optimal asset management program for our clients.
